So I ordered a Launch Creader VII from DHgate from the seller with the most sales of Launch products. Aside from a wrong tracking number I get the scanner after just 5 days. Upon unpacking the unit I notice that the display is all scuffed ![sadsmile2]( "sadsmile2")
. Hmm, must be a factory reject or something like that.
I insert the batteries and start the unit. Get the language setting changed to English and so far so good. Now I start function "Diagnose" and get an error message: "Cannot find a valid documents, please make sure that the path is correct". So I try to update the software but the Launch website listed in the Launch instruction manual doesnt even support Creader VII yet (only has V and VI on there). WTF?!
Now trying to get it sorted with the seller. And this is even a genuine Launch product. So frustrating.
