PicoScope 2204A Information

Hi.

Just purchased my first scope. It is a PicoScope brought it for £70 comes with the leads. Only purchased tonight on the net second hand.
The guy has told me it it 19 MHz i believe this to be a typo error as it got 8 KBs memory according to PicoScope website and that it a 10 MHz.

Is this suitable for cars ie for CANBus injectors. Coil pack input and output? Cam and crank sensors and other things you find under the bonnet. Or in the car etc.

What it limitations?

I don't really understand the MHz side of things.

I've never owned a scope in my life or even come close to playing with one.
Is 70 a good price. Looks like new in the pictures. But pictures can be deceiving.

Anyone know how many keys need to be programmed into the BCM for it to start. Is 1 OK?

Replacement BCM fitted and engine ecu also reset so new keys needed.

Hi!
I have annoying problem with this Audi.
There is DTC in instrument cluster:

00003 - Control Module
005 - No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 01100101
Fault Priority: 6
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 90
Mileage: 178618 km
Time Indication: 0
Date: 2018.10.26
Time: 12:37:28

So i tried to code it using Long Code Helper, but what ever logical setting i choose, it returns with another DTC: Control Unit Incorrectly Coded.
So i decided to give up and restore original coding, but DTC about incorrect coding remains.
This is my car so there is nothing urgent, but i would like to solve this problem.

Audi Q5 2012 2.0i Coolant Temp G62 Issue

Hello Guys.

Audi Q5 2.0i Petrol 2012 model year.

Issue is the Radiator Fans switch on as soon as the car starts. I have carried out a Full scan with VCDS and have attached the log. I have tested continuity from G62 directly to the ECU. All tests OK.

A brief history on the vehicle:
The engine had no oil pressure so the engineers changed the oil pump and balance shafts in the engine. According to the mechanic When the Engine was removed the guy forgot to remove the G62 connector and the wires pulled out of the connector. They installed another connector. I have tested resistance from the ecu through to the G62 and there is no Open circuit just to be sure.
There is also an oil pressure switch fault on the car, this I am not too concerned with as they only want me to repair the fans on issue.

Hi.
I have this old car belongs to a long time friend, I have done more than it's worth to get it through the MOT but now need to get the emissions a little lower on this, tired old girl to get her retested initial failure Co was 1.4 now its down to 0.7 but they reckons it needs to be 0.2 to pass everything is working as it should fitted new plugs fixed air leak flushed engine oil added injector cleaner but we are still not quite there wide band lamdas MAF and temp sensors all seem good, I was looking for a little trick which may help i.e. reducing fuel pressure at regulator restricting air over MAF hot foil, so it thinks its taking in less air than it is, only thing I noticed was MAF 13kpa at idle. I would expect it to be below 10kpa but seems good through the rest of the rev range. I don't think changing internal resistance of temp sensors helps much once it is warm! Any ideas for an easy trick? rock lipssealed headbang devil swear

I would need to do virgin for engine ECU, W211 OM648 Bosch EDC16C2-7. Original ECU missing pulse to one injector.
I would like to do virgin, so we could adapt it with original SDS. Of course it is from donor car.
Mercedes part number A6481502979 Bosch: 0281012363 CR3. 43.
So pros, i'm asking you how should i proceed? call I have K-Tag.

BMW 550i F10 XDrive Fuse F2 Blowing Issue

2011 BMW 550i F10 with VIN C785210 came to the shop, car was in lime home mode.
Scanned with ISTA and over 50 errors, missing DSC module and some FlexRay controller signaling fault.
Checked the fuses, fuse F2 5A blown, replaced blown fuse and all faults were gone.
Drove the car for 15 min everything was fine, scanned it again to make sure all are fine only one fault code:
1C3204 Engine oil pressure switch, open circuit or switch sticking.
I parked the car on side. Car was parked nobody was touching it.
Around 2x hours later I heard the sound same as when you open a door, then i turned the ignition on and all light were on again and same errors, F2 fuse blown.
What can cause this fuse to blown?
