307cc 2005 UK power steering electric fault.

Hi guys first of all let me just say happy new year to you all.

Right I myself own a Peugeot 307cc 2.0l 16V 2005 petrol engine code RFN. OBD II port on right hand side next to steering wheel, VIN VF33BRFNC83959956. Build date 10299. The problem it has started going in to limp biscuit mode. bigsmile2 Very annoying has done it more since the cold weather has arrived. It was just once a week. But now it happening twice a day in the space of around 5 mins not long after I fire the car up. What I will do is turn the car off why the car is in motion and back on again problem disappears as I said very annoying as I have my phone connected to the car stereo. So I have to press play again on my phone to play my tunes. bigsmile2
Anyway planet has come up with this. The fault won't clear.

Power steering intermittent fault vehicle speed information short circuit to positive or circuit open.

When the happens it throws up that bull shit message saying anti pollution fault.
Where do I start looking guys? Any ideas?
I can only imagine it some kind of sensor. It must be one of the worse cars on the road with faults don't get me wrong it nice to drive though.

PS
Why I'm on the subject is there anyway to disable the limp home mode feature as from personal experience, I think it a dangerous feature to have.
I'd rather the car to nackard up rather than this stupid thing decides to cut it when I'm on a island or going to over take.
