Peugeot 407 2007 2.0 HDi Battery Replacement

Hello.

I have a Peugeot 407 SW 2.0 HDi 2007.

Did i have to register the battery if i replace it with similar type and similar Ah?
Or is it only when i change Ah?
Or is it only when i change type, to AGM for example?
Can Autocom do that?
The reason for registration is for the alternator to adjust the charging or?
