In some ECUs, it is possible to remove the immobilizer by removing a EEPROM or cutting EEPROM pins.
I know 2 examples:
BOSCH X XXX XXX 851: the pins/legs 2,3,4 of the EEPROM with immo data must be cut/disconnected from PCB
BOSCH X XXX XXX 606: the EEPROM with immo data must be desoldered.
I want to expand my knowledge, so if you know a solution to a similar trick then let it know!
