I have 2006 2.2 dci auto with faulty abs pump/module these appear to be common problem which many specialist repairers can fix and main dealers have recalled in past as there is a known fault. I just wondered as these have been around for nearly 10 years now does anyone know what the problem with module is or what mod is done to rectify the weakness in the pump?
I obtained these Renault part numbers for this vehicle 7701208750 superseded by 7701209575 superseded again by 7701209842
Unfortunately these are not much good for locating secondhand or rebuilt unit as most sellers refer to Ate numbers like 8200 159 837
I am waiting for vehicle to come in to read actual numbers on pump & module.
I just wondered if any of you had any knowledge on this matter?
Especially a rumor that auto module can not be replaced & recoded with manual module!![shake]( "shake")
