BMW TIS & WDS Stopped Working

Hi M8's!
After several months of no use, i tried to open the BMW TIS or WDS for an E46 and had to recognize that it won't start. Do you have the same issue? My system is WinXP SP3 with all latest updates and IE8. I think that a Microsoft Hotfix update does this issue. SVG Viewer is installed, i think Java is blocked somehow.
Any ideas?
