Hi!
I have question about this ECU, Sim 266 on the A and B Class Mercedes.
Last week I had B Class W245 with ECU failed, cooling fan on and no communication with a ECU as usual problem.
I just plugged one to try and everything back to normal so I quote costumer for the ECU replacement.
Now, yesterday customer took the car to the Mercedes dealer and they updated the ECU. How did they do it and how they connect or boot this ECU?
Customer has been told by friend in the family as he had the same problem with his Mercedes and the dealer sorted it.
I also had A Class that I had it look in an other garage and they also said the Mercedes dealer fixed it.
I tried to reprogram online this ECU and failed as problem can not connect to the ECU. Checked WIS and Tips nothing there. Am I missing something?
The car came back to me as I need to replace front brakes and I checked it is still original ECU on the car.
Any info welcome!
