This is a ex mechanic neighbors car it has only done 36k mls has had pinking and occasional flat spot driving it has had new plugs and airflow meter replaced while under warranty from where he bought it! No fault codes nothing I could see in live data but I could not get it pinking nor find the flat spot when I was testing it! Although it has been doing this for many months
I wondered if anyone knows of any TSB or software update which covered this? I suggested to him it could be poor spray pattern on injectors due to low mileage but he dismissed this idea as he had previously used injector cleaner with no improvement although this means very little to me in creating a conclusive elimination/diagnosis
