With the VIN-Creator Tool I have created a vin.txt file for my car, which works fine in ETKA 7.3. The problem is that I can't figure out how to add the interior trim code in this txt file.
I've decoded the file as follows:
1;2;3;4;5;6;7;8;9;10;11
1 - VIN number of the car, 17 characters.
2 - Sales Type, 6 characters.
3 - Color code (I entered 3X3X in the file, which is read by ETKA as 3X / F4U, so this seams to work)
4 - Engine code
5 - Empty? (entering "CP" as found on ETKA's V-Pages does not work)
6 - Transmission Code
7 - Unknown, entering the CP didn't work.
8 - Build date in the format daymonthyear (for instance 12022008)
9 - Country code, 3 digits.
10 - Model Year. Mine lists "2012", but maybe I should enter "C"?
11 - All PR codes.
The big questions are numbers 5 and 7. Who knows the answer?
(And hoping for a similar vin.txt functionality in ETKA 7.4!)
