Have a 2010 Renault Clio here. Customer has 2 remote keys, but neither of them work remotely. Transponders are fine on both, they both start the car. Both keys have fresh batteries, and i have tested both on a frequency meter and both emit a correct signal.
I haven't found specific re-sync instructions for this new Clio, but i have tried the Clio 1 and 2 methods (press and hold internal lock/unlock 5/10 secs until the central locking closes and opens, then press remote etc.. but no matter how much i hod the button,, nothing happens.
Only thing i have done is clone one of the transponders on a tpx4, so i had to turn on ignition and off again 5-6 times, not sure if i tripped the programming mode for remotes like this? Similar to fords?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
