BMW E91 2007 Headlight Issue

Hi guys,
Need help with car BMW E91 2007. Client damaged the left reflector during a collision. He bought a used xenon headlight and it does not work.

There is a error:

BMW Code: 9CBF
9CBF - Stepping motor controller, left, signals fault
System: Footwell Module
BMW System: FRM
Type: Body

Should i code this used reflector? Didn't do it before so i need tips tricks.
