Audi Q5 2009 MMI Not Playing Audio

Hi everyone,

Need a little help with this one please.

Got a 2009 MY Audi Q5 in the workshop, customer is having issues playing music with his iphone 6 when connected via the cable in the glovebox.

1. The cable in the car has Lightning Adaptor and Aux - PN: 4F0051510AC. Would this be correct for this operation?
VAG Parts catalog lists another cable with "authentication chip", could this be my issue?

2. The Firmware seems really old on the unit HNav-EU-K0022-1-D1 is what its showing on the screen.
Is there a newer version and would it be wise to update it?
