Small probing tools to test wires

Hi guys is there a such small probing tools to fit up the arse end of ecu female plugs. .i have some small pins what i uses to prick wires with but they won't fit in the female plugs .i need something the size of what found on an ecu the thickness
Any Ideas or is it case of getting nackard ecu and gutting it
