Vauxhall Insignia 2013 2.0 CDTi Lost Communication With Steering Wheel Angle Sensor

Hi guys.

I have a Vauxhall Insignia 2013 2.0 CDTi, it has a fault on the dash service steering on the diagnostics in ABS it says:

U0126-00 - Lost Communication With Steering Wheel Angle Sensor

Have tried another steering angle sensor behind the steering checked all fuses everywhere even swapped another ABS unit (not programmed) just plugged another one in fault still there. Checked all wiring seems OK on steering angle sensor 2 can wires 1 live 1 earth all seem fine.
Any ideas please?
