Evening all.
Just to say that I do not need any help.![smile2 smile2]()
Want to ask if someone has repaired such ECU. It is the 5 plug ME 2.8 found in 240, 280, 320 Mercedes petrol engines.
The problem is that the engine fans goes at 100% as soon as the ignition is switched on. Also "Engine coolant level low" warning at the display.
The fan control circuit in the ECU is basically dead. There are constant 12V at the control wire, instead PWM signal.
That way the fan kicks in and the message on the display.
Is there a known component/driver that dies in such case? I have opened the ECU and there are no visible damage inside.
Any thought or ideas are welcome.
