Evening all.
I have a very strange issue with this car E220CDI, W212, year of production 2013 equipped with OM651 engine, with around 400.000 km at the clock, but still going strong.
The car comes from the official dealership near me, cause the customer does not like them, and that way he brought it to me.
The problem: when the car is started with clima ON (no matter in which mode - cooling or heating ) after 2-3 seconds it starts to idle very rough and the entire engine is shaking quite hard. It happens most during warm up, but also at working temperatures, but not often.
There is a fault code: P026300 - Cylinder 1 Contribution/Balance fault. The fault is not actual.
In live data, without clima ON, the correction factors of the injectors are OK. As soon as I turn the clima ON, all of the injectors correction factors hit maximum. This happens until I switch the clima OFF. Then all is OK.
So far tested and replaced:
- Timing gear and camshaft gears, according to the customer, they were replaced at the official dealership, before the problem.
- Injector 3, also according to customer, it was replaced at the dealership.
I have leak tested all the injectors at the beginning, all without number 2 were quite bad, including the one which was replaced at the dealership.
So I have replaced all other 3 faulty injectors, calibrated and programmed them.
Also engine ECU and clima ECU are updated with the actual software versions.
Summary: the car starts, idles and runs like a charm, without clima ON. As soon as it is turned ON, all goes to hell.
I'm out of ideas for now, so I hope that someone could suggest something or give me a hint.![smile2]( "smile2")
