Online VIDA still not playing well w/other SW's?
So, Volvo's VIDA has always been a pain in the ass.
to Volvo!
In the beginning, installations worked on clean Windows only, and only after a lot of preparations. Instructions were vague, at best. Unique usernames and passwords for different websites that were difficult to sort out.
Tech support would answer sometimes within minutes, and take three days on the next request.
They have stopped delivering the software on DVD's and now the installation can be done so fast online I am wondering what else has improved.
I have been wondering if this newer VIDA subscription software is still needing to be all alone on it's own "special" clean Windows install?
Has anyone used it with any other diagnostic software's?
Has anyone installed it to a PC that was NOT a new, clean Windows 7/8 Professional/Ultimate 64 bit OS?
Please tell us if you have VIDA subscription running on the same PC as any other (automotive diagnostic) stuff. (Like Alldata or Mitchel.)
Connector say's, Thank You AP!
