This specific tool was designed for CAN analysis using PEAK software. This same tool will also work with CANHacker and Busmaster. In addition to measuring and saving CAN data, the PEAK adapter and software has the ability to acquire CAN data and translate that data into a readable form very similar to generic OBD2 software.
