This came is as MOT failure had a lot of brake work required as well as failed emissions replaced Bosch plugs and cleared fault codes for injectors 2,3 & 4 retested emission levels before getting involved in further work, passed OK on gas analyser booked in for further work in 10 days on that day car had started stalling and misfiring again this time only fault stored was injector fault No 1 cylinder. I cleared the code it ran OK again and passed emission test on MOT. Customer is happy to get MOT done but this car is going to come back at some point with this intermittent misfiring on cold start up. It seems to me like an ignition coil cassette fault but I was concerned the only faults were injector faults which alternated to different cylinders which makes me suspect ECU but could the ignition cassette also cause false injector fault codes on this engine?
