Hiya guys, you might have come across this already but I will post my findings from today experience.
Car got recovered with suspect timing belt failure which was correct.
On stripping down found all 8 rocker arms broken but valves appeared to be all level. On inspecting the camshaft its not a cast shaft but steel with pressed on lobes which didn't look right. On comparing with another it was in a bad shape. After fitting second hand camshaft and rockers new belt kit etc the engine runs perfect. I've took a photo of the 2 camshafts side by side.
On the left is the shaft from engine on the right is the new one.
