Well most of us knew this was coming... Ford and Mazda finalize divorce, no more jointly made product.
Mazda announced recently that is has entered in an agreement with Isuzu to supply Mazda with a pick-up truck (off next gen D-Max).

The current Ford Ranger and Mazda BT50 will end in a few years and Mazda needed another 'ute' partner.
While I and many thought it would be with Toyota and Hi-Lux ute, this will not be the case.
Mazda has had a supply partnership with Isuzu before (Mazda T series trucks).
I also thought that Mazda would go with Toyota's vehicle diagnostic systems, but now I don't know where they will go once the BT-50 finishes around 2018-19.
Anyone have any idea's as to what Mazda will do for vehicle diagnostics as I can not see Ford allowing Mazda to use their license IDS, but then again?
