Ford C-Max 2012 IDS CCF Backup / Save Location

Does anyone know if ids saves the CCF file after reading and viewing.
if so do you know were?

just used ids instead of AVDI today.
to add trailer module to this c-max -WF0HXXWPBHCC82307

read file - fine
viewed file -fine
I asumed it saved a back up. as no save button on screen.
I know silly

edit file and reload - error and stop

Now car has a blank CCF file and now dead

cant see how to reload the file I read out.
other than etis asbuilt file
