I have this Peugeot 206 Automatic 1.4 Petrol KFWTU3JP only 69k miles with a strange fault only in drive often idles too high making gear change harsh always settles ok when you stop and put in park. No fault codes no air leaks new stepper motor which can be seen working in live data only stepping down to 10-14 in D but falls nicely to 7 in P. Rarely makes any difference when you wiggle test harness. I am convincing myself the problem is likely to be at ECU I have no pin data for this car but I can see from wiring diagram the 4 wires of idle stepper motor go to D1 D2 D3 & E3. Has anyone ever experienced this fault with an Auto? I need to work out how the stepper motor is controlled in Park as opposed to in Drive? I am hoping to find a change in operating circuit which will confirm my diagnosis! ![sweating]( "sweating")
