[Request] Car Recommendations

Hi guys, my parents looking to buy some second hand petrol car something between 2008-2010, what would you recommended?
They drive only about 6k km per year, and they looking for some small family car/compact car.
I'm not around them so they looking for some solid car which give them not many troubles.
What would be your choice?
