Hello all,
I want to talk to a Marelli MJD 8F3.B1 ECU (comes from a Fiat Ducato 2.3L 130hp 2013) with an OBD2 diagnostic scanner on the bench, as I have done in the car, as a check if ECU is alive after repair/tuning. Car is located far away and cannot be used for this. MCU onboard is a MPC5565MZQ132 with 324 pin BGA pinout.
I have tried connecting the relevant pins on the 94 pin connector (as per the original Fiat wiring diagrams) without successful connection to the ECU:
Control unit earth - pins 1,2,4 => GND
Direct supply from battery - pin 50 => +12V
Signal from +15 switch (Ignition +) - pin 88 => +12V
CanH, CanL - pins 69,70 => OBD connector pins 6,14
I don't see any K-line signal on the ECU pin function list.
I also tried adding Power supply from main relay - pins 3,5,6,29 => +12V (since the ECU monitors this relay actuation) but still without success.
Can anyone help solve this problem?
Thanks and cheers.
