Good day fellows.
Have Focus 1.6 TDCi 109HP 2010 which DPF has been removed, but owner had gone to Dealer because "Engine Failure Warning" on dash. At dealer they claimed it was the additive tank needed to be replaced an filled with additive, but warning was still there. Then they claimed FAP module under rear seat was damaged and needed replacement. Owner after spending lots of money and not satisfied requested FAP OFF and P2584 P1922 (loss of communication from Additive module with ECM which has been deleted with remap), but now getting U code because I removed the faulty FAP additive module but MIL "engine light" coming on although car is running OK.
Need to know if these additive modules are repairable and where should I look at regarding in the PCB itself, or if there is any bypass that can be done so no more MIL nor U code.
Have tried new lended additive module and all OK, therefore it's the old module that is faulty. Cables are all OK and tested.
Any suggestions are welcome.
