Hi all,
I've recently bought a 2011 Lancer (1.6 petrol, 117HP, manual transmission) that has a weird problem: while driving, when shifting gears, when I release the acceleration pedal and engage the clutch pedal, the car revs up on it's own (about +1000rpm). The feeling of this is similar to a lazy acceleration sensor/pedal, like the pedal isn't full released when I engage the clutch.
When I bought it I thought it suffered from a dirty throttle plate/body, and this caused this behavior. So I've properly cleaned the throttle body and plate, but things are unchanged.
I went to the Mitsubishi service and tested the CB for errors, but nothing came up.
Do you guys have any idea what could cause this behavior?
Thanks.
